What this site is, who runs it, and what you can reasonably expect from it.

Everything published here is general information about health-focused travel. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation to start, stop or change any treatment. It does not create a doctor-patient relationship of any kind.

Longevity science moves quickly and much of it is unsettled. Nobody can guarantee you a longer life, and any place that says otherwise is selling something. Decisions about your health belong between you and a qualified clinician who knows your history.

Who operates this site

Longevity Stays is operated by CurlyCorn LLC, a limited liability company formed in New Mexico, United States. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean CurlyCorn LLC.

What you agree to by using the site

Reading this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may change these terms as the site grows, and the date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

What the writing is

Longevity Stays is a reference work and a journal. We describe retreats, wellness hotels and longevity clinics in the same words as each other so they can be compared, and we write about the evidence behind the treatments those places sell.

We try hard to be accurate, and we cannot promise we always are. Specifically:

Programmes, prices, staffing and facilities change without telling us. Confirm anything that matters directly with the property before you book.
Where a property has not answered a question, the entry says so rather than guessing. An absent fact is an absent fact, not a judgement about the place.
The journal describes evidence as we read it at the time of writing. Evidence moves. Where it is thin or absent we say so, including when that is inconvenient.

If we have something wrong, tell us at support@longevitystays.com. Being right is the only thing this site has, so corrections are worth more to us than compliments.

We do not sell stays

We are not a travel agent, a tour operator, a booking service or a broker. We do not take reservations, hold money, or act for you or for any property. Nothing here is an offer to sell you anything.

Any stay you book is a contract between you and that property, on their terms, and their cancellation and refund policies are the ones that apply. We are not responsible for what a property does or fails to do, and we are not a party to your booking.

How entries are chosen, and how we may be paid

Every entry is picked by hand. There are no rankings and no scores here, so there is nothing for a property to climb and nothing to be moved up or down.

We intend to earn money from this site in future, most likely from properties that claim or expand their own entry, and possibly from commission when a reader books through a link. Where that applies to an entry or a link, that entry or link will say so plainly, on the page, where you read it. We will not disclose a commercial relationship only here and hope you find it.

What belongs to whom

The writing, the design, the brand mark and the arrangement of this site belong to CurlyCorn LLC. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote a reasonable part of it with attribution and a link. Republishing it wholesale, or using it to train a model, is not permitted without our written agreement.

Property names and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here to identify them, which is not a claim of endorsement in either direction.

Using the site sensibly

Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or use it for anything unlawful.

The limits of what we can be responsible for

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a decision you took on the basis of something you read here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you and the rest of these terms still stand.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in.

Privacy

How this site handles data is set out in the privacy notice. The short version is that it sets no cookies and collects no personal data.
